I am a mostly stay-at-home mother of two who finds time every now and then to write a song. I write about my life and have written songs since 2nd grade. At this point in my life, I write as a way to process what is going on, and also to entertain my kids. I have a semi-regular gig at my son's preschool and my "fans" - none of them over the age of 5 - often request some of my originals such as my "Macaroni and Cheese" song. It is a thrill to have such a great audience. As a way to play with other folks I have been hosting song circles at my house and have also begun playing some open mic nights, performing my own songs. It's nice to be out and playing again.
In addition to school gigs, I have begun playing at children's birthday parties and am available to perform old favorites and originals targeted for the preschool and younger elementary school-aged crowd. As an added extra, I can write and perform a personalized original song for the birthday person of any age!
