Joe Farren is a singer/songwriter who calls Portland, Maine home. Joe writes, performs, and records his own music. He has been performing in area bands for nearly eight years. For the last few years he has focused more on songwriting and the study of music, being a recent graduate of the University of Southern Maine's School of Music.
Joe's live performance mixes his acoustic driven originals with a wide range of covers by artists who have influenced his style of song. Such artists would include Van Morrison, Bruce Springstein, Counting Crows and Stevie Wonder.
Joe performs both on acoustic guitar and piano as well as harmonica.
